EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT & BOARD MEMBERS

Michael Coburn // CEO

Michael has dedicated his career to aerospace manufacturing, fostering significant growth in the industry for over 25 years. As CEO of Noble Aerospace, he believes success is achieved through a shared vision of safety, environmental responsibility and an unwavering commitment to quality. Prior to joining Noble, Michael was the President & COO for Cadence Aerospace, a structures machining business with seven sites throughout North America. In addition to numerous leadership positions throughout his career, Michael’s extensive experience includes the Global VP of Operations at Permaswage and Group VP for Precision Cast Parts Fastener Division where he had P&L responsibility for several businesses in Orange County and Los Angeles.

Michael graduated from San Diego State University, with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering with an emphasis on Aerospace Structures, and earned his MBA from Pepperdine University. He is trained in the areas of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing and is a certified corporate director through UCLA.

Scott Christman // CFO

Over 30 years, Scott has worked with public and privately held companies executing organic and acquisitive growth strategies. His focused, results-driven approach to developing and implementing initiatives has driven exceptional financial performance and operational efficiencies throughout his career. Prior to Noble, Scott held division CFO role for a portfolio of product design, development, and manufacturing companies in the motorcycle aftermarket space. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Accounting and began a career in public accounting at Ernst & Young where he earned his CPA.

Derek Watson // BOARD MEMBER

Derek has over 20 years of private equity investment experience and is the Managing Member of Watson Family Investments, a family private equity firm.  Previously, Derek was a Managing Director at Windjammer Capital Investors.  Derek’s private equity investment experience includes control equity investments in aerospace, automotive, distribution, and other industrial manufacturing businesses.  Derek has a significant and successful track record of helping to build strong management teams and providing the resources necessary to allow them to grow and succeed.  Derek earned his BA in Economics from UC Santa Barbara and an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA.

Kevin Fairfax // BOARD MEMBER

As the former owner of All Metals Processing with over 30 years of experience, Kevin has a comprehensive understanding of the industry and a clear vision of where it is going. He built AMP into a leader in the Southern California aerospace coatings industry with respect to quality, reliability, and service. He graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Economics and earned his MBA from Pepperdine University.

Brad Morton // BOARD MEMBER

With previous senior executive roles at AlliedSignal, Honeywell and 10 years as President of Eaton Aerospace, Brad has a wealth of leadership experience in the aerospace industry. His track record of innovation, operational performance and growth will serve Noble Aerospace well as it navigates the future of the industry. Brad holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana University. He has completed Thunderbird Consortium II at the American Graduate School of International Management in Phoenix and the Board Director Education and Certification Program at UCLA.
